The Select Program is for the committed soccer player that aspires grow and mature in the sport. This 12-month program focuses on player and team development in preparation for competitive league and tournament play. With increasing levels of competition, players will develop both technical skills and tactical awareness of the game.
The LUFC Select Program focuses on player and team development in preparation for competitive league and tournament play. All teams are coached by USSF/WYSA licensed coaches and participate in a mandatory team camp prior to the first outdoor season that stresses LUFC curriculum, philosophies and team building. With increasing levels of competition against soccer clubs throughout Wisconsin and the midwest, players will develop both technical skills and tactical awareness of the game.
A 4-day team formation camp to prepare for the upcoming outdoor season
Includes 2-3 practices per week and about 8 league games
Players participate in the LUFC Futsal League with 1 group training and 1 game per week (optional with additional fee)
Teams typically compete in two different tournaments each outdoor season
Each player receives their own LUFC soccer ball and are encouraged to bring it to each outdoor training
Classic league play is for clubs in and around Metro Milwaukee, with a variety of divisions with increasing levels of competitions consisting of 7-10 teams.
State league play is for teams that have demonstrated success at the highest divisions of the classic leagues and includes teams from across the state
The USYS Midwest Conference (formerly MRL) features three TEAM v TEAM tiers — Premier I, Premier II and Qualifying Divisions with relegation & promotion — to ensure the highest level of meaningful competition among the Midwest.
The US Youth Soccer National League provides the top league competition in USYS and is comprised of three areas of competition: the Elite 64, National League P.R.O., and National League Conference.
Kickin' It Lakeside is Lakeshore United's home tourrnament featuring Academy and Select teams from across the state! This June tournament is a great way for teams to see how far they have come as the programming year comes to a close and summer begins.
Coming in August is Lakeshore United FC's inaugural Shoreline Shootout! This is a great opportunity for youth soccer players to compete in their first tournament of the programming year and enjoy some of the best weather months here in Wisconsin!
The Wisconsin Presidents Cup is a progressive competitive expeerience that provides a series of unique experiences highlighting competition and camaraderie. The winner of the Wisconsin Presidents Cup advances to the USYS Midwest Presidents Cup, with the winner of the Midwest tournament proceeding onto the National Presidents Cup tournament.
The State Cup tournament is the most competitive tournament in Wisconsin. Occurring over 2 weeks, qualified teams battle through group play followed by knockout rounds on the path to crrown a state champion. State champions advance to the USYS Midwest Regional Championships, with the regional champions advancing to the national tournament.
