Skills, strength, & Injury prevention

The Player Development & Training program provides additional opportunities for players to receive coaching and development from a variety of instructors in a small group format.

Training sessions are announced throughout the year and cover a variety of topics, including skill sessions focused on striking & goalkeeping as well as sports performance & injury prevention.

Training Options

Training options will be announced and added throughout the year.  Below are the options currently available.

Training sessions offered on various nights of the week with a focus on technique in 1v1 and 2v2 matchups

Skill development sessions focused on goalkeeping technique, skill, and strategies on various nights each week

Skill development sessions for attacking players to focus on and improve striking technique, accuracy, and power

A 10 week program for high school boys focused on speed, strength, power, stability, mobility, and injury prevention

Fall Skills training

U10-U19 Boys & girls

Fall Skills Training will be led by Lakeshore United coaching staff - coaches Rogerio, Brie, Kyle, Jonathan, and Heather - these small groups of 7 or less will test and push players in their technical skill development.

Coaches will work with players on their individual skills in 1v1 and 2v2 settings and will also address and adapt training to the needs of the players at each session.

Winter 2024 Training Opportunities

BoYS & GIRLS (U9-U19)

This winter, we’re proud to bring together a dedicated lineup of coaches, including Coach Lexi, Coach Bri, Coach Kyle, and Coach Rogerio. Each coach brings a unique set of skills and insights to elevate your game. We’re also thrilled to welcome Trainer Rodney to our team this season. With a focus on form, mobility, and agility, Rodney’s sessions are designed to enhance your physical prowess and soccer finesse.

Small groups will be limited to a maximum of 5 players per session and will cover a variety of different skills.  Players are encouraged to sign up in advance at the link below to secure their spot.

Players can purchase a 5-session training card for $100 or a 10-session training card for $150.  Coaches will hand out cards and collect either cash or check at a players first scheduled training session.
