Becoming a Unified Club
Founded in 1985, the Sheboygan Area Youth Soccer Organization (SAYSO) brought the first organized soccer experience to Sheboygan.  SAYSO was established to help foster a growing interest in soccer throughout the community with skill instruction and establishing recreational teams, leagues, and tournaments.

As popularity grew, so did the needs of the community.  In the early 2000's, a second soccer organization was formed, Sheboygan County United SC, to provide select and travel soccer opportunities for players seeking to play more regularly and competitively.
With a vision for a unified club dedicated to provide soccer opportunities for youth of all ages and ability levels, in 2014, Tony Klockow led a merger of SAYSO and Sheboygan County United SC to become Lakeshore United FC (LUFC).

Since then, LUFC has rapidly grown with the establishment of the Academy Program for dedicated and aspiring 8-10 year olds, Juniors for 4K & 5K, TOPSoccer for athletes with special needs, Summer League for Grades 1-12, and the expansion of the Community Soccer League throughout Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and Ozaukee Counties.
