Next up in our “We Are Lakeshore” series is Coach Chris Guy!

Coach Chris is our head coach for Lakeshore United FC’s TOPSoccer Program and the assistant coach for our Select U11 and U12 Girls teams. He has been a youth soccer coach for the last 5 years and has his US Soccer Grassroots license.

Coach Chris, or as some prefer to call him, Misterpher Christopher, grew up playing soccer in Oostburg including 4 years with the Dutchman of Oostburg High School. He loves watching professional soccer, especially Everton in the Premiere League. But his favorite player is the Portland Thorns and USWNT star, Crystal Dunn.

If Coach Chris could be any fictional character in the world, he would be The Count from Sesame Street – which is quite fitting given his passion for teaching, learning, and helping kids reach their potential. Besides coaching for LUFC, Coach Chris is a Learning Strategist at Sheboygan Falls High School.

Chris lives in Plymouth with his wife Emily and his sons Jonah (2 years) and Miles (5 months).
