Next up in “We Are Lakeshore” – a series highlighting our coaches, staff, and volunteers – is Brianna Schnell!
Coach Bri (rhymes with weeee) joined our Lakeshore United FC coaching staff in 2021 and is currently coaching our U9 Girls Academy as well as the U14 Navy Girls and U14 Green Girls teams in our Select Program.
This Port Washington native has been playing soccer her entire life, which includes winning a Wisconsin State Cup and a Super-Y National Championship during her youth career. After graduating from Port Washington High School, Bri continued her soccer career playing for the Redhawks at Ripon College.
When Bri isn’t playing or coaching soccer, she loves being active outdoors. During the warmer months, you probably will catch her either camping or boating in her spare time. And when others hunker down for the winter, she’s much more likely to be outside snowboarding.
Coach Bri enjoys to snack on fruit and pickles (but never together), watching Rose Lavelle and Julie Ertz on the US Women’s National Team, and pictures herself as Jessie from Toy Story. Make sure you give Bri a warm “Yodel-ay-hee-hoo” next time you see her on the pitch!
